My mum was a mentor at the Makripodis School

The MAKRIPODIS BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL is a Christian community school founded on the 23rd September, 2007. It is located in Kissi Town, after Tombo, ward 375, constituency 105, Western Rural District of Sierra Leone, a community whose livelihood depends largely on fishing. MAKRIPODIS is a co-educational school running courses for both junior and senior secondary School.

There are six full time and four part-time members of staff with an enrolment of 201 pupils. Most of our staff members are not on government payroll. They are salaried from tuition fees collected from the senior secondary School and meagre subsidy government pay in respect of our junior secondary School. The present facility we are using is on rent. The community had given us adequate land space to construct our own facility but funding is our greatest challenge. Please keep us in prayer as we are earnestly believing God for God-fearing partners that will partner with us in supporting this great task.
